Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Research Fellow in Early Phase Clinical Trials at the Drug Development Unit at the Institute of Cancer Research and The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust.
The Drug Development Unit, a designated Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre, is widely regarded as the worldwide leader in phase I clinical trials. We have our own dedicated in-patient and daycare (and some outpatient facilities) unit, Oak Ward, within the Royal Marsden.
This post offers an excellent opportunity to be centrally involved in delivering care to patients participating in clinical trials of experimental anti-cancer drugs and other clinical research involving patients with advanced cancer. The successful applicant will gain clinical experience across a wide range of adult malignancies, as well as participate in trial preparation and manuscript writing.
To be considered, applicants must meet the following essential criteria: full registration with the General Medical Council, MRCP, and some experience in managing patients with oncological malignancies.
The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is a world-leading cancer centre, committed to providing the best cancer care and advancing global research in cancer diagnosis and treatment.
