We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 ASC Support Assistant to work with a child in our EYFS Classroom. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a caring and committed team focused on providing inclusive and supportive early learning experiences.
Your Role:
* Provide 1:1 tailored support to a child with ASC, enabling full access to the EYFS curriculum.
* Work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and parents to implement and adapt strategies that promote learning, communication, and social development.
* Use structured routines, visual aids, and sensory tools to meet the individual needs of the child.
* Create a positive, safe, and encouraging environment where the child feels valued and included.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children with ASC, ideally within an EYFS or primary setting.
* A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Knowledge of EYFS framework and strategies for supporting children with additional needs.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistant) are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
