Overview
Were looking for a Quality Engineer to join our KierBAM Joint Venture (JV) partnership between Kier and Bam Nuttall based in Plymouth, Devon.
Location: Devonport Dockyard, Plymouth, Devon. Working from home: Some remote work may be available.
Hours: 45 hours per week. Permanent, Full Time.
Responsibilities
* As a Quality Engineer, you\u2019ll be working within the nuclear team, supporting them in delivering the redevelopment project at the Dockyard.
* Ensuring that an effective Quality Management System is being operated and maintained at all levels.
* Providing site training/mentoring on the requirements of the Quality Management Systems, as well as guidance and assistance on quality matters.
* Preparing, reviewing and evaluating Inspection & Test plans (ITPs), including those of subcontractors.
* Ensuring the material approval process is maintained by inspecting materials delivered, meeting project requirements, and obtaining and tracking all appropriate certification.
* Aiding the delivery teams in ensuring timely progressive sign-off of the ITPs by attending weekly meetings with the Client.
What we are looking for
* Academic Qualifications - Civil Engineering, Quality, Construction related Qualification (HNC, BSc, MSc, BEng, MEng).
* CSCS - White PQP/AQP.

Due to the nature of this role and the work at this site, you will be required to complete a Government Security Check (SC) Clearance before employment.
