Production Line Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Production Line Operative to join a busy manufacturing site in Worcester.
This role does not involve operating machinery. You will be working alongside a Machine Operative, supporting the end-of-line packing and palletising process.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Standing behind the Machine Operative and receiving filled boxes of contact nails.
2. Sealing and securely closing boxes.
3. Stamping boxes accurately.
4. Stacking sealed boxes onto pallets safely and neatly.
5. Using a pump truck to move completed pallets to the designated warehouse area.
6. Collecting metal waste from machines when required.
7. Handling boxes weighing between 5kg and 25kg.
8. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
9. Following all health and safety procedures.
The Ideal Candidate:
10. Previous production line experience preferred
11. Comfortable working on their feet for long periods
12. Physically fit and capable of lifting to 25kg
13. Reliable and punctual
14. Able to carry out repetitive tasks with good attention to detail
15. Team player with a positive attitude
