Contract Quant Developer - Hybrid - £900-£1000/day (INSIDE IR35)
We’re looking for a Quant Developer to help build and expand a cutting-edge trading analysis and visualisation platform that empowers financial and physical trading teams with data-driven insights.
What you’ll do:
Build and launch greenfield platform, integrating fundamental, macroeconomic, statistical, and positional data.
Design real-time dashboards highlighting trading opportunities such as cross-location arbitrage and futures term structure analysis.
Develop advanced models and tools to support a multi-asset trading book (forex, precious metals, ferrous metals, options, derivatives).
Enhance risk management frameworks with tools for exposure analysis, options Greeks, and scenario modelling.
Collaborate with traders, researchers, and technologists to deliver scalable solutions.
Apply machine learning and advanced statistical methods to improve trading strategies.
What we’re looking for:
Strong data analysis and statistical modelling skills.
Proficiency in Python, R, or similar analytical tools.
Experience with dashboards and visualisation (Grafana preferred).
Solid understanding of derivatives, especially option pricing and modelling.
Background in commodities or metals trading is a plus.
Knowledge of ML/neural networks is a bonus.
