At Haven Lodge we offer a warm, friendly welcome by the sea.
Located just metres from the seafront, Haven Lodge is a welcoming care home at the end of a quiet residential cul-de-sac in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex. We provide nursing, respite and end of life care for older people, including individuals with Alzheimer's and other sorts of dementia.
Our warm, supportive approach involves really getting to know each resident and making sure they're settled and happy. We develop personal care programmes for each individual, including activities based around their interests.
Every month, we meet with residents and their families for an informal chat. It's another chance to listen to any feedback or suggestions they might have for us. We also compile a monthly newsletter, which we hand out at the meetings.
We extend our care to residents' loved ones too. Our experienced, friendly team is always there with a listening ear and a cup of tea we make the time to sit, talk and, if were asked, offer helpful advice. Relatives find this very comforting and appreciate knowing that we're there for them as well.
