This is a very exciting opportunity to join the team at our newly opened restaurant Canopy. Based at the heart of the Meadows, in the beautifully renovated old Royal Infirmary, the operation consists of a 60 cover, contemporary Scottish Brasserie, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner alongside a more informal Grab & Go offer served during the day. Reporting to the Catering Manager, you will lead the team in both the restaurant and takeaway operation to deliver exceptional customer service and fantastic food. At the same time, supporting the catering manager in overseeing all aspects of the day to day running of the operation. This is a hands-on role; you will lead from the front inspiring the team to deliver exceptional service and maintain the highest standards. To succeed in this role, you will have experience managing a similar high-street, high-volume restaurant operation. This post is full-time (35 hours per week), on campus.
