Based in Belfast city, the firm is keen to build on existing corporate demands and identify a new leader to grow the Corporate function. Purpose: As a Corporate leader, your immediate focus is to enhance the existing workload, develop opportunities and achieve the growth goals for the function. The right leader will drive the business forward, build on combined networks and contacts; and layer up the corporate team with more fee earners, leading to equity options in the business. Profile: This role will suit either an existing Salaried Partner or an experienced Senior Associate / Legal Director level solicitor. You will offer extensive experience of key corporate transactional workstreams such as M&A, corporate restructuring, MBOs/MBIs etc. Additional advisory experience is of beneficial.You will lead your own function goals but also collaborate with Partners in other functions including real estate and banking. There is a focus on HNWI, OMBs, investor and investee side, on a local and cross-border basis.This will suit an experienced corporate lawyer who is frustrated by delayed equity promises or is concerned about glass ceilings, it's a unique chance to be number 1 team lead.
