The Role As Sous Chef, you’ll work closely with the Head Chef to deliver an exceptional food offering in a fast-paced, 7‑day operation. You’ll take a hands on role in leading the kitchen, supporting with menu development, ensuring smooth service, and maintaining the highest culinary standards. This is the ideal role for a strong Junior Sous ready to step up — or a current Sous Chef looking for a new, high profile challenge. Key Responsibilities Supporting the Head Chef in the day‑to‑day running of all kitchen operations. Leading, motivating, and developing the kitchen team, especially in the Head Chef’s absence. Overseeing prep, service, and kitchen workflow to ensure consistent quality and efficiency. Managing ordering, stock control, and waste to maintain cost and GP targets. Ensuring full compliance with food safety, hygiene regulations, and H&S policies. About You Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous ready to step up. Confident leading a team, with excellent communication and organisational skills. Able to thrive under pressure within a busy, fast‑paced environment. Passionate about fresh, seasonal ingredients and delivering exceptional dining experiences. Positive, driven, and eager to contribute creative ideas to a brand‑new venue.
