Band 7 Physiotherapist/Osteopath, specialising in Pain Management
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced physiotherapist/osteopath to be part of Enfield Community Pain Service, located at the Chase Farm Hospital.
This is a fixed-term post to cover maternity leave, until August 2026.
We are looking to welcome a Physiotherapist or Osteopath with an interest in managing patients with persistent pain who will be a key member of the Pain team. You will join a close-knit multidisciplinary team including Consultants, Psychologists, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and APP Physiotherapists, providing assessment, one-to-one sessions, movement classes, and Pain Management Programmes for patients with persistent pain.

Job summary
This role involves working as part of the Enfield Community Pain Service at Chase Farm Hospital, providing specialist assessment and treatment for patients with complex pain conditions. This fixed-term position lasts until August 2026.
The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering assessments, individual treatments, and group sessions, contributing to service development, and supporting the team with clinical governance and supervision.
Main duties of the job
* Perform comprehensive specialist assessments and develop individual treatment plans.
* Support and implement service improvements with guidance from the Pain Lead.
* Carry out all clinical duties autonomously.
* Collaborate with GPs, Consultants, and other professionals to ensure coordinated care.
* Develop specialist skills in musculoskeletal and pain management.
* Identify and report clinical governance issues.
* Supervise and support less experienced staff and students.
* Participate in health promotion activities within the service and the wider Trust.

Person Specification
Education and Qualification
* HCPC/GoC registration
* Physiotherapy/Osteopathy Degree or Diploma
* Evidence of relevant CPD in pain management
Skills and Abilities
* Ability to work independently as an autonomous practitioner
* Excellent communication skills, including report writing
* Experience in managing complex pain and chronic conditions
* Supervision and teaching experience
Experience
* Minimum 5 years post-graduate clinical experience, including outpatient musculoskeletal management
* Experience working within a multidisciplinary team
Personal Qualities
* Reliable, flexible, motivated team player
* Strong interest in pain management and professional development
