With a full range of self-adhesive labels, tags, swing tickets, woven and care labels, barcoding and security labels they have many of the worlds most recognised clothing brands as clients. They are currently looking for a Key Account Manager to join their team to manage some of the company's key accounts. Candidates will ideally come from an Apparel/branding/trims background. Overview: Lead role and daily point of contact for client Working as part of a global team Personally responsible for your allocated client's budget Reporting to the Managing DirectorResponsibilities: Reporting to the MD - regular updates and monthly progress reports including sales vs budget figures Develop and agree your sales budget and targets with the MD and deliver/exceed Develop and maintain strong relationships with client decision-makers through regular in-person, phone, or electronic meetings Embed yourself within the client as required (at least bi-monthly) - with a consciousness of dedicated Account Manager commitments Document and circulate meeting minutes to relevant colleagues, specifically Account Manager and client where applicable Arrange debrief meetings with relevant colleagues where necessary Maintain existing client relationships by presenting new products and services in a professional manner Network extensively within the client's organisation to maximise awareness and understanding of the company's complete offer Promote the company's full range of products, services and core values at all times ensuring you are representing the company in the best light Promotion and education to client of Web Order System Understand the Company goal/purpose to enhance the Company's performance and maximise margin opportunity Price negotiation - work closely with Global Purchasing Teams Collaborate with design and Account Manager(s) to meet the client's needs Negotiate stock holding and service level agreements - agreed and signed by client decision maker Work with the client to manage stocks in all locations with regular updates on slow moving/old stock and arrange invoicing and disposal accordingly Maintain i-Snapshot on a daily basis to track activity Mentor Account Managers and other internal team members on specific client requirements as necessary Keep up to date on current trends and all products the company can offer Have contingency plans in place for when events go against the CompanyPersonal Attributes: Demonstrate relentless persistence to get the job done Ability to present at all levels High level of negotiation/closing skills Strive at all times to exceed client's expectations High level of customer service whilst maintaining close attention to Company profitability Effective, professional and inter-personal communication skills Travel UK and abroad will be required as part of the role when necessary Image - mirror the client Excellent attention to detail, record keeping and administration Call planning, project management, good systems knowledge:- Microsoft 365, Sharepoint, Teams, and internal Umbrella, i-Snapshot Awareness of your personal cost effectiveness, stock write off cost, sample cost, own expenses cost Working as part of a team to meet Company objectives Personal development Adherence to the practises and procedures of the company as outlined within QMS manual and departmental processes
