About the Role
:
We have a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team within our busy Tower Hamlets office. As our Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for managing all costs relating to our projects. Your focus is to minimise the costs of a project and enhance margin and value for money, whilst still achieving the required standards and quality. This will also include procurement, subcontract management inclusive of administration of the contract, monthly payments and final account settlement.

1. Progressing works through the system on works that have been completed

4. Dealing with Queries
5. Dealing with incorrect values
6. Progression of works
7. Working closely with GM
8. Working with the Financial and Commercial team

Role Criteria:
10. Construction knowledge
11. Previous experience as a quantity surveyor.
12. Knowledge of NHF
13. Experience in SOR codes
14. Repairs and Maintenance Experience
15. Excellent IT, analytical and communication skills
16. Strong mathematical ability
17. Ability to assess and analyse information
18. Good business sense
19. Good understanding of budget management
20. Negotiating and networking skills
21. Enthusiasm
22. Flexibility
23. Able to work within a busy team and under pressure
24. Good team working skills
25. Accurate with an eye for detail
26. A methodical approach
27. Willing to work extra to meet deadlines as and when the business needs require it
