Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Service Manager, located in Herefordshire. As the Service Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our care services, ensuring quality and as the registered manager with CQC, ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
As Service Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Day-to-day operational management of new and existing services across Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
* Ensuring services are safe, effective, and continuously improving in line with regulatory and organisational standards.
* Leading, mentoring, and inspiring staff to deliver the highest quality of person-centred support.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with families, commissioners, and partner agencies.
* Driving service development and innovation to meet the needs of the people we support.
* Working as part of the senior management team to ensure strategic aims are achieved.

Qualifications
Essential:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in care, preferably within learning disability or complex needs services.
* At least 2 years' management experience leading and motivating teams.
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding, MCA/DoLS, and regulatory frameworks.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
* NVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) with a commitment to complete Level 5 if not already achieved.
Desirable:
* Experience working in service development or new service mobilisation.
* Proven track record of engaging with commissioners and external partners.

* Able to build strong relationships and inspire trust.
