In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in providing a proactive, warm welcome to our clientele. As an ideal candidate from a high-end luxurious customer service background, you'll bring with you an unparalleled understanding of luxury service standards. As the Welcome Host/Concierge, you will be the very first point of contact for our esteemed guests, making a lasting impression that sets the tone for their entire experience at Christies. In this role, you will anticipate guests needs and ensures their expectations are surpassed in line with the Client Service Standards. Harnessing your charismatic nature and strong communication skills, you will exhibit an enthusiasm for the delivery of exceptional client customer service and ideally will have previous experience of working for a luxury brand as a welcome host, concierge, or front of house/receptionist. Health and Wellbeing – Life assurance scheme, access to mental health support specialists Access to an Online GP Service for you and your dependants A typical day in the life as a Welcome Host/Concierge: Providing a warm welcome and a meaningful goodbye to every client/visitor that walks through Christie's doors. Ensure a warm and welcoming environment is created for all types of clients/visitors - All clients and staff should be welcomed in the appropriate way. Facilitate clients/visitors' arrival and/or departure. This includes opening doors, obtain transportation such as taxis, escort clients to where they need to go and carrying their luggage/belongings into the premises. Support the check in process of the cloakroom where appropriate. Ensure full knowledge of the location of current views / sales to direct clients effectively. Assist guests by giving directions and providing important information about Christie's - Build awareness of local area (galleries, restaurants, auction houses, CIRE, RS Chambers) Assist clients/visitors who require access support or use of a wheelchair, guiding/accompanying them through the building as required. Highlight Security team are informed immediately of any suspicious or criminal behaviour. Ensure the public areas are always kept at the highest standard of cleanliness; report any maintenance / cleaning requests to Client Service staff at Front of House What are we looking for? For this esteemed role, we are looking for people with a background within the high-end hospitality sector or luxury brand corporations? Previous experience working as a welcome host or concierge within a luxury brand setting is essential.
