The Role
We are recruiting Field Crew Operatives based in Leeds, working across the UK. As a Field Crew Operative, you will collaborate with teams on various wastewater and water projects throughout the UK and Ireland. Your role involves installing and maintaining flow monitors, water quality instrumentation, and auto-samplers in sewer pipes and rivers.
Your work will help improve the environment by supporting water companies in managing sewer networks, preventing flooding, reducing pollution, and enhancing river and bathing water health.
Typical Day of a Field Crew Operative
Your day includes visiting sites to support your team in setting up equipment safely, installing, calibrating, or removing equipment, often in confined spaces or river environments. This involves lifting and carrying equipment from vehicles to the work site.
Requirements
* Flexibility for varied hours and willingness to work away from home (accommodation and meals paid by the company). Night and occasional weekend work are required.
* Ability to work well within a team and with diverse individuals.
* Strong work ethic, positive attitude, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
* Comfort working around raw sewage and in confined spaces.
* Valid driving license.
* Right to work in the UK.
