We are working in partnership with a leading independent firm of chartered accountants and business advisors in the North West, currently seeking an experienced Audit Assistant Manager to join their growing audit team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive and people-focused firm, known for delivering tailored financial guidance and growth strategies to a broad client base.
The Role:
As an Audit Assistant Manager, you'll play a key role in managing audit assignments from planning to completion. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, oversee fieldwork, guide junior staff, and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring audits are delivered to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead audit engagements and manage on-site teams
* Oversee audit planning, execution, and reporting
* Mentor and review work of junior team members
* Maintain strong client relationships and deliver quality service
* Ensure compliance with audit and regulatory standards
About You:
* Proven audit experience within practice
* Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS, and/or IFRS
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Experience with CaseWare/CCH (advantageous)
