About The Role
Reporting to the Estimating Lead, you will take complete ownership for capturing data from across the Callen-Lenz SME community that will directly feed into generating reliable cost modelling information.
Responsibilities
* Attend bid launch meetings to understand all requirements of the customer which transpose into estimating needs.
* Work closely with internal cross-functional teams to gather detailed information for cost build-up of estimates.
* Populate the Callen-Lenz cost model with gathered information ready for internal reviews.
* Identify & highlight any gaps or assumptions in the data for risk analysis.
* Present estimating outputs at gate reviews.
* Perform other related duties as required.

* Demonstrate in daily activities a commitment to health and safety in the workplace by always ensuring tasks are performed in the safest possible manner.
* Report all hazards and incidents that the individual is party to, or observes, in the correct manner.
* When required or directed, participate in any health and safety training.
Qualifications
Educated to a degree standard in a related subject e.g. Engineering, Maths, Statistics, Business.
Essential
* Confident user of all Microsoft Office applications.
* Must have previous direct experience in engineering and manufacturing environments in a technical capacity.
* Able to understand Bills of Materials.
* Confident in working to fixed deadlines to meet business objectives.
Desirable
* Intermediate skills when working with Microsoft Excel.
* Logical thinker who can identify/challenge data.
* Knowledge of UAV’s would be advantageous.

* Excellent communication skills across functions and all levels of business.
* Enthusiasm for their work and self-motivated to deliver their best.
* Ability to work well within a cross-functional team.
* Adaptable and able to take on additional tasks if required to do so.
* Must be a British Citizen or have an existing right to work in the UK.
* Ability to commit to occasional national and international travel.
* Ability to hold Security Clearance – 5 years residence in the UK.
