Early Years Educator – Lunch Cover
We are looking for an Early Years Educator for the longbenton setting. This part‑time role (11:00 am – 2:00 pm) requires a commitment to supporting children during mealtimes, collaborating with the nursery team, and maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide support during mealtimes, assisting children and ensuring a positive mealtime experience.
* Collaborate with the nursery team to support daily routines and activities.
* Maintain a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment for children.
Qualifications & Experience
* Desirable but not essential: Level 2 or higher UK recognised early years qualification.
* Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage or enthusiasm to learn more.
* Knowledge of safeguarding children and safeguarding training.
* Enhanced DBS check required; a Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate is mandatory.
Safeguarding & Training
All staff must complete safeguarding training and regular refreshers. Enhanced checks are part of our safeguarding duties.
