Overview
As a Care Home Manager at Broadoak Manor, you will value kindness above all. Your role will involve caring for residents in our Dementia, Residential and Specialist care homes, ensuring their emotional and social needs are met, and fostering a supportive environment for both residents and staff.
Responsibilities
You will take responsibility for the well‑being of our residents, including developing, implementing and evaluating individualized care plans. You will lead, motivate and mentor your team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the home, monitor work areas and practices to guarantee safety and compliance with standards, policies and legislation and promote residents’ independence, choice, dignity and respect through high‑quality care and continuous improvement.
About You
We are looking for an experienced care home manager with strong leadership skills, experience working with multidisciplinary teams, and proficiency in conducting risk assessments. You should hold a Registered Managers Award Level 4, Leadership and Management in Care Level 4/5 or be willing to study for one. Above all, you will communicate with residents and co‑workers in a considerate and kind manner.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You will recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect, attend safeguarding training appropriate to your role, seek advice and report concerns, and appropriately escalates issues if action is not taken.
