We are looking for a Voluntary Services Officer to work within the local community to attract, recruit, train, and support volunteers. Your main base of work will be at our East Sussex Site, supporting the implementation of the organisational Volunteering Strategy, assisting the Head of Voluntary Services to realise the full potential of volunteer resource available to Demelza. The role involves exploring potential volunteers’ skills and expertise and matching them to a role within Demelza. Providing training and support to volunteers and their Line managers across our operating regions. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels with competent use of all aspects of social media. You must be fully conversant with all aspects of discrimination, equality of opportunity and diversity. You will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a changing workload with demands from all areas of the organisation.
