JOB- Process Engineer
LOCATION- Stanford-le-Hope
TERM- Permanent
SALARY- £35,000 to £50,000 per annum (plus benefits)
Premier Engineering is working with a specialist manufacturing company based in Stanford-le-Hope who are looking to expand their technical team with a Process Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company operating in the chemical processing sector, offering a long-term career with development opportunities.
The Process Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
* Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering or a related field
* 2+ years of experience in a process or production engineering role within a manufacturing or chemical plant environment
* Strong understanding of chemical processing, plant operations, and continuous improvement
* Familiarity with health & safety and environmental regulations (COMAH, DSEAR, HAZOP)
* Good analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and reporting abilities
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and process modelling tools
The Process Engineer role will involve:
* Supporting and improving chemical process operations across the site
* Monitoring production performance and proposing efficiency improvements
* Ensuring compliance with environmental, health and safety standards
* Leading root cause analysis and corrective actions for process issues
* Collaborating with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams
* Assisting in the scale-up of new processes and product introductions
