We are seeking a well-presented, organised and client-focused Front of House / Salon Coordinator to join our fun, dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth, professional, and welcoming salon experience for all clients, while supporting the day-to-day operations of the salon.
The ideal candidate will have a background in customer service, exceptional communication skills, and preferably experience within the hair industry. Hairdressing experience is not essential but will be viewed favourably. Social media knowledge is not required but would be considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and check-in clients with warmth and professionalism
* Manage bookings and appointment scheduling using Timely
* Handle phone, SMS, email, and walk-in enquiries efficiently and with care
* Process client payments and manage point-of-sale systems
* Coordinate daily appointment flow, ensuring smooth transitions for stylists and clients
* Monitor salon presentation and cleanliness throughout the day
* Maintain retail displays and monitor stock levels
* Support team members with time management and client communication
* Assist with client rebooking and promoting salon services or packages
* Prepare beverages and maintain client comfort while they wait
* Communicate any changes, delays, or issues to the relevant team members
* Occasionally assist with back-of-house duties when required
* (Optional/Bonus) Support content creation or assist in capturing before-and-after photos for salon promotions and social media
Skills & Experience:
* Prior experience in a hair front-of-house role
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Excellent time management, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
* High level of professionalism and personal presentation
* Confidence using computer systems and booking software (experience with [insert your salon software] preferred)
* A proactive and team-oriented attitude
* Knowledge or experience in the hair industry is highly regarded
* Social media familiarity is not required but would be an advantage
