Salary: £39,360 per annum
Permanent, 35 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Flexible working arrangements may be discussed.

About the role
Are you someone with strong governance skills, or do you have the potential and motivation to grow quickly into a role that supports Accent’s Boards, Committees, and Leadership Team? We’re looking for a Corporate Governance Officer who is ready to contribute to a high‑performing governance and board administration function.

Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality governance support across Accent’s Boards and Committees.
* Prepare and review board papers and packs that align with corporate goals and priorities.
* Foster collaboration by building strong, respectful relationships across the business to support effective communication and decision-making.
* Contribute perspectives to culture change and help embed governance in everyday work.
* Travel as needed and support a flexible work approach to balance responsibilities.

Salary
The spot salary for the Corporate Governance Officer post is £39,360 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants who are developing towards the full requirements of the role may start at a lower salary, with clear progression pathways.
About you
* Proven experience in corporate governance or company secretarial roles.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Experience in managing meetings, taking minutes, and preparing governance reports.
* Proficient in Microsoft 365 and governance software, such as Diligent Boards.
Interviews

A call with the hiring manager to learn more about the role and team, and to understand your experience and goals. Planned date: 5 November via Teams.
Stage 2: A Place to Show Your Strengths
A role-related assessment and behavioural and scenario-based interview focused on applying knowledge to real-life situations. You’ll be asked to complete a Congruity Questionnaire in advance. Planned date: 12 November at our Bradford office.
