As an Independent Reviewing Officer for the Children and Families Service you will be
* Acting for the children they review as a conscientious and responsible corporate parent would act
* Monitoring the performance of Son an ongoing basis in relation to their response to children in care and ensure any issues are escalated appropriately
* Quality assuring every plan following each review meeting and consider that all appropriate options have been considered to meet the child’s identified needs
* IROs must focus on children’s needs being met but cannot be unaware of resource/ cost implications
* Responsible for convening, chairing and producing the decisions and minutes of the review meeting within prescribed timescales and that quality standards are met.
You are required to:
* Hold a Social Work England registration
* Be eligible to work in the UK
* Hold a full UK licence
* Post-qualified experience
* Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
