SUMMARY
Midland Oil Group Ltd are currently recruiting for a E-Commerce Dispatch Operative to work for a busy Business in Halesowen. This would be a Permanent role and an opportunity to be part of an exciting team and grow existing skills. The Business is fast paced and has been growing year on year creating new roles within the Business.
PRIMARY LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO
* Picking, packing and collating customer orders from the warehouse
* Transporting finished product from the warehouse into the sorting area ready for palletising, wrapping and labelling
* Filling required stock and organising future orders
* Complete stock checks
* Keep all equipment in good working order and report any issues to the E-Commerce Manager
* Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed and promote a good H&S culture on Site
* Load and check finished orders to ensure all quality checks are completed before the order is dispatched
* Promote a high standard of housekeeping on site
* Put forward any ideas of improvements you may have to the Sales Manager
* Adopt a work ethic of continual improvement and error-proofing
* Discuss any quality issues with the E-Commerce
KNOWLEDGE AND PERSONAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS
* Forklift certification
* Experience of 5S, 6 Sigma desirable but not essential
* Good communication skills
* Good time management
* Willingness to extend working hours where appropriate
* Professional approach to all tasks set
* Manual dexterity required for operating machinery
* Willingness to extend job responsibilities to assist co-workers and ensure the smooth operation of the production plant.
* Capability for any potential heavy lifting.
