Were working with a well-established food manufacturing business in the Malton area thats continuing to invest heavily in its site and engineering function.Due to ongoing growth, theyre looking to bring in a Multi-Skilled Engineering Technician to support production, drive reliability, and play a key role in improving site performance.The RoleThis is a hands-on engineering role within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.Youll be responsible for keeping production running efficiently through a mix of reactive maintenance, planned maintenance, and continuous improvement work .Youll also be involved in supporting new equipment, improving existing processes, and working closely with production to drive performance.Key ResponsibilitiesCarrying out both reactive and planned maintenance across siteFault finding on electrical and mechanical systemsSupporting the delivery of the site PPM scheduleMinimising downtime and improving equipment reliabilityAssisting with installations and continuous improvement projectsWorking closely with production to maintain output, quality, and safety standardsWhat Theyre Looking ForMulti-skilled engineer with electrical and mechanical experienceIdeally apprentice trained or Level 3 qualified (NVQ / C&G / HNC)Experience within food or FMCG manufacturingStrong fault-finding ability and a practical mindsetUnderstanding of PPM systems, OEE, and continuous improvementSomeone who takes pride in their work and contributes positively to the teamWhats on Offer£45,000 £46,000 salaryMonday to Friday shifts (no weekends)Rotating mornings and afternoonsOngoing investment into site and equipmentSupportive team environment with opportunity to developWhy This Role?This is a great opportunity to join a business that is:Investing in its engineering functionFocused on improving reliability and performanceOffering a better work-life balance with a Monday to Friday patternIf this could be of interest, apply now or get in touch for a confidential chat.TPBN1_UKTJ
