Legal Cashier - Hampshire

I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established law firm in Hampshire who are looking to add an experienced Legal Cashier to their Finance team.
This is a key role responsible for managing client and office account transactions, ensuring full compliance with SRA Accounts Rules, and supporting the firm's financial operations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Processing client and office account transactions and payments
* Daily client bank reconciliations
* CHAPS and BACS payments
* Client-to-office transfers and cheque banking
* Checking invoices and completion statements
* VAT processing and compliance
* Assisting with audits and month-end reporting
* Working closely with fee earners and support teams
The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven experience as a Legal Cashier within a law firm
* Strong knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong IT skills (legal accounting systems and Excel)
* ILFM qualification (desirable, not essential)
