The Role – What You’ll Do • Plan and deliver high-quality Business lessons at KS4–KS5, aligned to current specifications. • Use assessment for learning, feedback, and data-informed intervention to secure excellent progress. • Enrich provision through Young Enterprise, entrepreneurship clubs, guest speakers, workplace visits, and competitions. • Contribute to schemes of work, departmental resources, and exam preparation. • Maintain a purposeful classroom culture with high expectations for behaviour and achievement. • Participate in wider school life, including tutor roles, trips, and Sixth Form events. Person Specification Essential • Degree in Business or a related field. • QTS/PGCE and experience teaching KS4 and/or KS5. • Strong subject knowledge across core business domains. • Evidence of impactful teaching and strong behaviour management. • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion. Desirable • Experience with AQA/Edexcel. • Evidence of raising attainment in exam groups. • Experience leading Business enrichment. • Ability to support university/career guidance for Business pathways. • (Optional) Ability to teach Economics beneficial but not essential.
