Quality Engineer Sector: Engineering Location: Norfolk Hours: Monday to Friday, days. Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience We’re recruiting a Quality Engineer for an engineering manufacturer based in Norfolk. The role is hands-on and factory-facing, supporting product and process conformity, driving corrective actions, and improving supplier performance. Key responsibilities Manage non-conforming product (NCRs, concessions where appropriate, containment and follow-up) Lead corrective and preventive actions, including root cause and 8D activity Carry out internal QHSE audits and support close-out of actions Support supplier quality - audits, performance monitoring and improvement plans Maintain and improve the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (supporting future standards where required) Lead and maintain the calibration system Liaise with customers and internal teams to meet quality requirements Produce and maintain quality documentation and reports (APQP, PPAP, FAIR, ISIR and customer-specific requirements) Report monthly KPIs across Quality, Environment, Health and Safety What we’re looking for Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Quality Engineering / Quality Assurance role within manufacturing Comfortable working with production teams and engineering functions day to day Experience of supplier auditing and supplier development Understanding of ISO standards (ISO 9001 essential - exposure to IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 14001 is useful) Internal auditing experience (qualification beneficial) Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T Confident using Microsoft Office (Power BI and ERP exposure is useful) How to apply To apply, please send your CV or contact ISQ Recruitment on 01603 369 500 for more information.
