Position Overview: Are you a strategic, data-driven SEO specialist who thrives on improving search visibility and driving commercial impact? We are seeking an experienced SEO Manager to lead MasterMover's global organic search strategy. This role blends technical SEO, content optimisation, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration - while staying ahead of evolving AI-powered search experiences such as AI Overviews and generative answer engines.
Responsibilities:
SEO Strategy & Ownership
* Develop and own a global SEO strategy aligned with business and revenue goals.
* Build and manage SEO roadmaps, prioritising initiatives based on commercial impact.
* Stay updated on market trends, algorithm updates, and AI-driven search changes.
Technical SEO
* Ensure our website is technically optimised for crawling, indexing, and performance.
* Lead improvements in Core Web Vitals and site speed.
* Manage site architecture, URL structure, international SEO, and schema.
* Collaborate with developers to deliver technical enhancements.
Content & Search Experience Optimisation
* Partner with content and digital teams to build SEO-driven content hubs, pillar pages, and high-intent landing pages.
* Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and SERP landscape reviews (including AI-led features).
* Create SEO briefs and ensure content meets EEAT standards.
* Optimise content for both traditional and AI-driven search experiences.
Analytics & Reporting
* Own dashboards and reporting tools (GA4, GSC, Looker Studio, SEO platforms).
* Analyse organic performance, conversions, and search visibility to identify growth opportunities.
* Monitor the impact of emerging AI-led SERP features and adjust strategy accordingly.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Work closely with marketing, product, and development teams to embed SEO into wider initiatives.
* Align with paid search to avoid cannibalisation and maximise visibility.
Governance & Best Practice
* Maintain site hygiene including metadata, taxonomy, and content structure.
* Monitor and resolve indexing issues, errors, and rankings cannibalisation.
* Manage SEO tools and agency partners where required.
AI & Automation
* Use AI to support keyword clustering, content ideation, reporting, and optimisation.
* Ensure AI-assisted content meets quality and editorial standards.
* Stay informed on how AI search models summarise, cite, and surface content.
Requirements:
* Demonstrable experience in SEO (B2B or global environment beneficial).
* Strong knowledge of technical SEO, content optimisation, and analytics.
* Proficiency in GA4, GSC, SEMrush/Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar tools.
* Experience working with developers, UX teams, and CMS platforms.
* Ability to translate SEO insights into clear business actions.
* Excellent communication and project management skills.
* Comfortable using AI tools responsibly to scale SEO tasks.
* Understanding of emerging AI-led search experiences.
