This is an extremely open school with minimal doors for classes.
As a teaching assistant within this school, you will be joining the KS1 cohort, playing an integral part in the education of a young female pupil.
The pupil you will be supporting is an extremely outgoing and charismatic individual with a very loving personality but does at times struggle to access the curriculum as she can become dis-regulated and easily distracted, which can then encourage other pupils across the class.
You will encourage their learning by implementing a myriad of positive behaviour strategies, picking up on signs that behaviours may be escalating and using distraction techniques to retain focus.
