Siamo Group are recruitin for aService Technician Production to support the Production Team Leader in delivering efficient, high-quality manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring production lines are set up and operating effectively to meet customer requirements for quality, volume, and on-time delivery. You will provide first-line leadership, technical support, and problem resolution, helping to maintain smooth production flow while promoting continuous improvement and a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities Promote and maintain a safe working environment, supporting 5S standards and health & safety compliance. Lead and support the production team to achieve output targets using available resources while maintaining quality standards. Ensure routine operational activities such as TPM checks and quality inspections are completed. Provide first-line technical support and resolve production issues, working with support functions when required. Support and encourage continuous improvement activities across the production area. Train and coach production operators to ensure process and quality standards are met. Support the Team Leader in ensuring process adherence and operational consistency. Promote team wellbeing and engagement within the production environment. Follow and operate in accordance with company policies, procedures, and standards. Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, environmental, and equality policies. Authority Authority to stop production processes if product quality is compromised. Level 1 disciplinary responsibility for team members. Skills & Experience Strong health & safety awareness. Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing or automotive environment. Experience within JIT production environments is desirable. Leadership or team supervision experience within a production setting. Good communication, literacy, and numeracy skills. Practical engineering or mechanical troubleshooting skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
