Vertu Volvo Exeter is looking for a Sales Advisor to join our friendly, high-performing team — and no previous motor trade experience is required.
What’s in it for you?
You’ll enjoy a competitive basic salary of £32,000, with on‑target earnings of £38,000, plus the opportunity to earn well above this. From day one, you’ll be supported with full training and a comprehensive onboarding programme, designed to set you up for success and help you maximise your earnings quickly.
After just six months, you’ll have the opportunity, (if you choose), to progress into a Sales Executive role, increasing your on‑target earnings to £45,000+, along with a company car.

We believe great performance starts with a healthy work‑life balance. You’ll work a 40‑hour week across five 8‑hour shifts. While Saturdays are our busiest sales day and form part of your rota, you’ll enjoy a guaranteed weekday off, and best of all — we’re closed every Sunday, giving you a consistent day to relax and recharge each week.
About the role
As a Sales Advisor, you’ll be at the heart of the customer journey. From welcoming customers and arranging test drives, to helping them find the right finance and accessories, you’ll ensure every interaction is positive, professional and memorable.
You’ll connect with customers in‑store, online, by phone and via video, working with both local and national enquiries. Strong communication skills and confidence using technology are key, but don’t worry — we’ll train you on everything you need to know.
What we’re looking for
All you need is:
* A full UK driving licence (manual and automatic)
* A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service
