JOB TITLE: Customer Service Coordinator
LOCATION: Bridgwater, Somerset
SALARY: Up to £28, PA (DOE)
HOURS: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours

We are seeking a well-organised and passionate Customer Service Coordinator to join a highly established manufacturing business in Bridgwater. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth daytoday operations within the service department, whilst also working collaboratively with the other teams across the business. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes pride in delivering a seamless and professional service.
Main Responsibilities:
6. Manage the service inbox and phone line, resolving customer queries or directing them to the appropriate team.
7. Raise warranties, source parts, and determine warranty eligibility; escalate nonwarranty cases for quotation.
8. Process purchase orders, quotations, sales orders, dispatch notes, and engineer allocations using Sage and DriveWorks.
9. Coordinate engineer schedules, book travel and accommodation, and manage employee card orders.
10. Keep customers updated on order and service progress.
11. Handle decontamination bookings and upload certificates for both suppliers and customers.
12. Manage engineer reports, dispatch parts, update KPI trackers, and support the service coordinator and accounts team.
13. Work collaboratively across departments and support cover for team members during absence.
14. Adhere to all company health & safety procedures.
Key Skills:
15. IT literate experience using Sage would be beneficial however not essential
16. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy
17. Process driven
18. Prior experience working in a fast-paced role, meet deadlines, both independently and as part of a team
19. Proficient organisational skills, able to respond to continually changing business needs
20. Willingness to work flexibly, with a calm, positive and motivational outlook to each task
21. Personable nature, with confident and effective communication and listening skills
