We have a rare Head of Department opportunity available, here at the Green Dragon Hotel
We are currently looking to recruit a true hospitality professional, with the flair to deliver service at the highest level, in the position of Housekeeping Manager.
Key duties include:
* To inspect guest rooms, including VIP, vacant, occupied and check-out rooms, to ensure that the high standards are being achieved
* Check the standards of the rooms and public areas
* Ensure sufficient supplies and equipment available to your team, to enable them to carry out their job
* Supervising Room Attendants and Floor Porters in your charge and making sure they have everything they need and that they are looked after
* Take care of any lost property
* Manage cleaning schedules to ensure consistent high levels of cleanliness are adhered to
* Assist with stock takes and control of inventories
* Monitor consumption of cleaning products and amenities to control wastage.
* Manage the recruitment, training, performance, absence and rotas for the department
Key requirements for this role are as follows:
* Excellent customer service skills
* Previous experience of supervising/managing people is essential
* Ability to inspire, motivate and get the best out of people
* Great attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure
* Ability to work independently
* Immaculate personal presentation
