WA Consultants in currently recruiting for a C#/.NET Developer for an initial 6-month contract.
The successful applicant will support our client with the following
* Act as an advocate for the IT department across all areas of the client business.
* Pro-actively applies (or quickly gains) a comprehensive knowledge of the needs of stakeholders to provide solutions to problems.
* Develop software in all areas of the client stack to meet specific business needs arising from both new and changes to existing business processes.
* Ensure the quality and security of the code bases.
* Perform code reviews during pull requests.
* Contribute to Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
* Resolve application issues across all environments during all development phases.
* Produce and execute unit test plans.
* Ensure software releases are visible and work with teams to progress through environments.
* Support team members to solve complex problems.
Essential skills:
* C#
* ASP.NET
* ASP.NET Core
* SQL
* VBA
* Version control (Git)
* Unit testing
* Ability to create and consume data from a wide range of sources including database, XML and JSON.
* Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
Desirable:
* Understanding of DBA role and activities to be able to support
* Oracle
* Previous experience or exposure to Blazor
* ERP & WMS Systems
