Overview
As Care Home Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead of a Barchester care home, you9ll support the delivery of the quality care we9re known for. Working closely with the General Manager and taking on leadership duties in their absence, you will help with everything from ensuring care standards to motivating your team. You9ll inspire a multidisciplinary team to ensure every resident enjoys the best possible quality of life, lead by example, and monitor standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice and checking regulatory compliance. You9ll set the highest standards and draw on your skills to develop and deliver strategies to achieve your goals.
Responsibilities
* Support delivery of quality care in the home and work with the General Manager in their absence.
* Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team to help residents achieve a high quality of life.
* Lead by example and monitor standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice and regulatory compliance checks.
* Develop and deliver strategies to achieve defined goals and maintain high care standards.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse (RN/RMN) with current NMC registration.
* Teaching, mentoring or supervision qualification.
* Experience in helping residents with different health needs; track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments.
* HR experience; strong knowledge of sales and marketing; understanding of budget management.
* Track record of supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship.
