We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Laboratory Manager to oversee daily operations of our new testing department.
The Laboratory Manager will be responsible for co-ordinating and conducting tests on a wide range of materials to ensure they meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage day-to-day laboratory operations, including scheduling, personnel, equipment maintenance, and quality of work.
2. Develop and implement testing procedures for a variety of materials.
3. Supervise lab technicians and ensure all work is conducted safely and efficiently.
4. Interpret test results and prepare detailed technical reports for internal teams and external clients.
5. Maintain compliance with industry regulations, company quality standards, and health & safety procedures.
6. Calibrate and validate lab equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
7. Collaborate with R&D, engineering, or quality control teams to support product development or quality assurance projects.
8. Continuously improve lab processes to enhance testing efficiency and data integrity.
9. Manage documentation, records, and certifications related to testing procedures and results.
