Specialising in bespoke office fit-out, refurbishment, and design & build projects, the business offers turnkey solutions for a range of commercial clients. With an impressive project portfolio and an in-house delivery model, this company is known for its quality workmanship, innovative solutions, and collaborative culture.Your new roleOur client is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing commercial team in Prescot.
The successful candidate will take the lead on pricing and tendering a variety of office fit-out and refurbishment projects across the North West. This is a key role where you will contribute directly to the company's continued growth and client success by preparing accurate and competitive costings.Responsibilities will include:Preparing accurate cost estimates for Cat A & B fit-out and refurbishment projectsReviewing tender documentation, drawings, and specificationsLiaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotesConducting site visits to assess project requirements and constraintsPreparing and presenting tender submissions to the Commercial DirectorWorking closely with the project and design teams to develop cost-effective solutionsMonitoring cost variations and assisting with value engineeringSupporting contract handovers to ensure clear cost baselinesMaintaining a database of rates and pricing informationWhat you will need to succeed:Proven experience as an Estimator within commercial construction or interiors/fit-outStrong knowledge of estimating techniques, building materials, and tradesExperience with refurbishment or design & build projects is highly desirableProficiency with estimating software and Microsoft ExcelExcellent attention to detail and numerical accuracyStrong negotiation and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and meet deadlinesFull UK driving licence and willingness to conduct occasional site visitsWhat you get in return:Competitive salary between £45,000 - £65,000 depending on experience25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysCompany pension schemeCareer development and progression opportunitiesStable, supportive working environment with a long-standing teamEngaging and varied projects across respected regional and clientsThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable, forward-thinking construction firm where your input is valued, and your career can flourish.Apply: If you're interested in this opportunity, then please get in touch today with our Commercial Specialist Mark Harris, or apply with your CV.
