Responsibilities
* Supervising ground investigation crews (cable percussion, rotary & window sampling)
* Conducting trial pitting and logging soil and rock to BS5930 / Eurocode 7 standards
* Groundwater and gas monitoring
* Producing Phase 1 desk studies
* Assisting in the preparation of factual and interpretive reports
* Managing projects effectively and professionally
Qualifications and experience
* Industry experience in engineering geology or geotechnical investigation
* Degree in geology, earth sciences, or a master’s in engineering geology/geotechnical engineering
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel/work away from home
* Located within reasonable distance of Glasgow or willing to relocate
* CSCS card, first aid training, and SSSTS certification
