Salary: £27,000-£30,000 (dependent on experience)

Are you passionate about creating inclusive, nurturing early-years environments where every child can thrive? A warm and well-established nursery in the North East Bristol area is looking for a dedicated SENCO to join their team and lead on high-quality support for children with additional needs.
About the Role
As the nursery's Special Educational Needs Coordinator, you will:
Champion inclusive practice across the setting
Identify and support children with SEND, ensuring early intervention
Work closely with staff to develop individual support plans
Build strong relationships with families, external agencies, and professionals
Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with the SEND Code of Practice
Provide training, guidance, and coaching to the wider team
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Has experience working in an early-years setting
Holds a relevant early-years qualification (Level 3 or above)
Has completed, or is willing to complete, recognised SENCO training
Understands the EYFS and SEND Code of Practice
Is proactive, organised, and confident in working with children, families, and professionals
Brings warmth, empathy, and a genuine commitment to inclusive education
