We are currently recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join a busy and fast-paced sales office environment on a temporary basis starting in April. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and experience in order processing to support a dynamic team.
Sales Administrator (Temporary)
Blackburn
Monday–Friday, 08:30–16:30
Temporary Contract
Key Responsibilities:
* Process customer sales orders (both automated and manual) in line with commercial agreements
* Carry out pre-order checks, identifying and resolving any discrepancies
* Monitor order fulfilment, lead times, and delivery schedules
* Proactively identify risks to service and elevate where necessary
* Manage and update customer portals, including subscription and order pattern changes
* Handle customer queries via phone and email in a professional manner
* Redirect enquiries to relevant departments where appropriate
* Assist with dispatch documentation
* Maintain accurate records, systems, and documentation
* Process payments and manage invoices (including pro forma and manual invoices)
* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and GDPR regulations
* Support reporting requirements and general sales office administration
* Provide team cover when required
Requirements:
* Minimum 1 year experience in a sales office or similar administrative role
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Experience with stock management and data systems
* Excellent communication skills, calm, clear, and customer-focused
* Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
* Confident working with numbers and data
* Positive, resilient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Fluent in English
