In this role, the successful Sales Engineer will be responsible for preparing accurate costings and quotations for fabrication and engineering projects. You will analyse drawings, technical specifications, and client requirements to ensure all estimates are competitive and achievable. Day-to-day, you'll liaise with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather information, secure the best value, and maintain strong working relationships. Working closely with Project Managers and Engineers, you'll ensure that quotes and proposals align with delivery plans and project scope. From time to time, you'll also attend site visits to fully understand client needs and translate them into precise, tailored quotations.
The Role:
* Prepare accurate quotations and costings from client requirements.
* Communicate with customers, suppliers, and colleagues to ensure a strong project delivery.
* Support site visits when required
The Person:
* Background in fabrication and welding with knowledge of CNC punching, folding, and laser cutting.
* Attention to detail, and clear communication abilities.
* Reliable, professional, and comfortable managing multiple quotations at once, good IT skills
