Purpose of Role
Live-In Carer – Lovely Lady Client in Liphook
We are looking for a warm, caring, and reliable live-in carer to support a lovely lady who lives in a peaceful gated development in Liphook.
Schedule:
* Every Sunday 9:00am to Monday 9:15pm (weekly)
Salary:
* £125 per day
Opportunities Available:
* Daytime Care Assistants – supporting clients with daily living, personal care, and companionship.
* Waking/Sleeping Night Care Assistants – providing attentive overnight care for clients who require additional support through the night.
Training & Development
All new Care Assistants will complete 2 days of mandatory training to prepare for their role. Throughout your employment, you will receive ongoing training and support, with opportunities to be assessed and signed off as competent in key care skills. We also provide specialised ongoing training, including dementia care, to help you continuously develop your skills and deliver the highest quality care.
About the Client:
Our client is a kind and engaging lady with a wonderful life story — she spent many years living in India, and she loves sharing her experiences and photos from her travels.
She enjoys:
* Listening to classical music
* Short walks around the grounds
* Spending time with visiting family
* Looking through and showing her photo albums
Your Role:
You’ll provide friendly and professional support, including:
* Personal care and daily routines
* Assistance with medication
* Meal preparation and light cooking
* Companionship and meaningful conversation
* Encouragement to enjoy gentle activities and outings
Ideal Candidate:
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Compassionate, patient, and respectful
* Reliable and confident working independently
* Experienced in supporting someone with sight impairment (helpful but not essential)
* A good communicator with a genuine interest in people
Qualifications
* Compassion & empathy: A warm, approachable personality with the ability to connect meaningfully with older people
* Professionalism: A dedicated and responsible approach, with a genuine passion for delivering the highest quality of care
* Communication skills: A positive outlook and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English
* Eligibility: The right to work in the UK
* Mobility: A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, as travel between client visits is required
