I am working alongside an innovative biotech company seeking to expand their team of computational Physicists to drive groundbreaking innovations. You will play a crucial role in building this team, inspiring collaboration across multidisciplinary environments to enhance HITs in drug discovery and achieve excellence.
We seek an individual with extensive industry experience to provide strategic solutions within the team.
Your responsibilities will include optimizing and developing physics-based computational methods in drug discovery programs to accelerate the identification of new drug candidates.
We are looking for a leader with expertise in computational physics, chemistry, and statistical mechanics to provide technical guidance and strategic direction to the team of scientists.
Key responsibilities:
* Mentor and lead a team of scientists focusing on physics-based computational methods.
* Develop and integrate strategies using free energy calculations and physics-based models into drug discovery pipelines.
* Provide technical leadership in statistical mechanics, molecular dynamics, computational chemistry, and free energy calculations.
