Workshop Maintenance Supervisor required to manage our three busy workshops at Basildon, Barking, and Enfield.

As a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor, this is a management role responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Basildon, Barking, and Enfield VMU, and all vehicles meet DOT standards for roadworthiness.

Main Responsibilities:
* Ensure the efficient operation of the VMU and achieve targeted KPIs and objectives.
* Diagnose and repair vehicles to minimum DOT standards following the company's preventative maintenance program. Complete all relevant documentation and report to the manager.
* Adhere to all company preventative maintenance and service schedules.
* Prepare necessary reports and paperwork.
* Road test vehicles must hold HGV license class 1.
* Ensure the correct and safe use of all tools, plant, and equipment.
* Ensure PPE is worn according to the company's health and safety policy.
* Adhere to HASWA/Legislation/Security procedures and maintain good housekeeping.
* Provide high-level internal and external customer care.
* Ensure no vehicle leaves the VMU in an unroadworthy condition.
General Responsibilities:
* Participate in developmental training as required.
* Manage, train, and develop team members according to their roles and business needs.
* Develop staff for succession through coaching, delegation, and feedback.
* Promote a professional image and comply with company policies and conduct codes, including outside work events.
* Comply with all health, safety, and security regulations.
* Seek continuous improvement through quality initiatives.
* Ensure the safety and security of vehicles and equipment.
* Perform any other duties deemed reasonable by management.

* Ensure all policies and procedures are followed and maintained.
