Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team at our Newport factory. The ideal candidate will possess a strong depth of knowledge in fabricating sheet metal components and demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude. You should be adept at cutting, forming, and shaping sheet metal using a variety of machines, including press brakes, laser cutters, guillotines, and punching machines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and maintain sheet metal fabrication equipment such as press brakes, laser cutters, guillotines, and punching machines.
* Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure precise fabrication of components.
* Carry out cutting, forming, and shaping tasks with high attention to detail and safety.
* Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and quality standards.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise on the shop floor.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication.
* Comprehensive understanding of fabrication processes and machinery.
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
* Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
