HYBRID WORKING OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EXPERIENCED ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANT WITH A STRONG ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNING BACKGROUND REQUIRED WITH EXPERIENCE IN THE WASTE MANAGEMENT & RECYCLING OR MINERALS EXTRACTION & QUARRY SECTOR
TITLE: Senior or Principal Environmental Planning Consultant
SALARY: Negotiable DOE PLUS CAR
LOCATION: Commutable to East Side of Birmingham, with 2 days a week from home
ROLE: Senior or Principal Environmental Planning Consultant - CIWM
Responsibilities
* You will deliver technical support for the environmental monitoring to open and closed landfill, waste, quarry and minerals extraction sites
* Maintain quality and best working practice
* Preparation of reports
* Responsibility for Project Performance
* You will support junior staff
Qualifications
* EXPERIENCE: Senior or Principal Environmental Planning Consultant - CIWM
* You must have extensive experience in environmental planning consultancy (roughly 5+ years for Senior Role, 8+ for Principal in the waste management, quarrying or minerals extraction / mining
* You will have a Degree or Masters in a relevant subject to the role such as Environmental Management, Environmental Science etc.
* Ideally you will be a member of the CIWM / Chartered Institute of Waste Management
* You will have a UK driving Licence
