Location: WR3
Pay: £90 - £105 Per day (Based on experience and qualifications)
Contract – Full time opportunity Monday– Friday until end of academic year.
Smile Education is proud to be supporting a nurturing SEN primary school in Worcester that is seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs on a 1:1 and small group basis, helping to deliver engaging and inclusive learning experiences that support both academic progress and personal development.
The Role
• Support pupils with a range of special educational needs in and out of the classroom
• Assist in delivering personalised learning programmes in line with EHCPs and IEPs
• Help create a safe, supportive and structured learning environment
• Support pupils with communication, social skills and emotional regulation
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
• Encourage independence and confidence in pupils
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and inclusion always

Requirements
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience working with SEN pupils (minimum 3 months)
• Experience with Autism or complex needs desirable
• Professional, patient and caring approach
• Committed to full time work and reliability
• Able to provide 2 references covering the last two years
• Hold an enhanced DBS or willing to obtain one through Smile Education
