Role Purpose
The Pharmacist will be responsible for safe, effective, and efficient provision of pharmaceutical services. The role checks prescriptions and advises patients.
Key Responsibilities
* Responsibilities:
* Clinically check prescriptions from doctors/dentists.
* Counsel patients on how to take medicines and possible side effects.
* Give health advice (e.g., on smoking cessation, vaccinations, minor ailments).
* Supervise pharmacy technicians and dispensers.
* Legally responsible for the supply of medicines.
* Training:
* Master's degree in Pharmacy (MPharm, 4 years).
* One-year foundation training placement.
* Pass the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) exam.
* Must be
registered with the GPhC
